A VERY SUMMER LIKE EVENT IN STUBEN: OVER 350 NEON-LOVER AND LONGBOARD ROCKERS ENJOINED SUPER SLUSH, THE 25° C WEATHER AND OPEN AIR FEELING IN STUBEN.
LIZ KRISTOFERITSCH WINS THE LBC WOMEN CATEGORY, MATTHIAS JORDA THE LBC MEN CATEGORY. BIG UP’S!

after finising ahead of all other freeride world tour riders on the us leg of the tour i worked my way to 2nd place in the overall ranking after 3 out of 6 events. my results – 6th, 3rd and 1st reflect pretty well how i felt after coming back to the contest scene after a year off, needing some time to adjust my riding an mind. there are 3 more fwt stops to go which is a long way, so i will kick back a bit for 2 weeks now, doing some filming and recharging batteries for the final events.
if you like, check out a halftime analysis of the race for the world title in this pretty good article on the fwt website:

Good news! After a year at sea including an 8000-mile crossing of the South Pacific, Austrian snowboarder Flo Orley is cutting short his planned circumnavigation of the globe to focus on raising his soon-to-be-expanded family. That’s right, Flo will soon become a daddy and in between Lamaze classes he’ll be competing on the FWT11. Welcome back, Flo!
